A change in the system has created automated emails which are sent, amongst other things, reminding competitors that their event is in X days, then the following day an email reminding them it is in Y days, I assume an email will come tomorrow reminding them it is in Z days. There is no ability in the Portal to turn off these emails, which I assume are associated with the greyed out 'Event Status' box under entrants.

Following a high number of requests from clubs, we introduced more automated notifications to keep entrants informed. The system is designed to send reminders 7 days and 1 day prior to the event. However, we have identified a bug that was causing some of these reminders to be sent more frequently than intended. This issue has now been fixed.
At this stage, there is no option to disable these reminders, but we appreciate your feedback and will take it into account for future improvements.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your concern regarding the recent changes to automated payment reminders and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
There are two possible solutions to address this issue:
Marking Payments in the Portal – The system is designed to keep track of payments, whether they are processed through the platform or managed externally. Event Organisers can manually record payments in the Entries Summary by entering the amount received in the 'Fees' field. This will prevent non-payment notifications from being sent to competitors.
Disabling Payment Reminders – We acknowledge that some clubs manage payments outside the Portal, and introducing an option to disable payment reminders is something we can consider. However, this would require development work and will take some time, as our team is currently focused on high-priority projects.
