A system whereby an accredited official of an affiliated club can update a competitor's membership. At the moment I can type whatever I want for membership and expiry without proof. it was password protected the competitor makes a request to the secretary and the secretary validates their m/ship and expiry removing the reqirement to physically check a card or phone.

Can you please confirm that I have correctly understand what you're suggesting.
Currently, in the Event Entry app if you click the MY DETAILS menu then go to Section 2. Club Memberships
A member can record any Membership Number and any Expiry Date, without any sort of proof.
Ideally, event organisers would be able to trust that this information were correct because it had been validated by the club.
This would then remove the need to physically check a card or phone during the event check-in.
This is a great idea that could improve the Event Entry process for all.
If I have understood this correctly, I already have a few possible solutions for people to review any give feedback on.
