Request details
As part of the digital transformation roadmap Motorsport Australia are developing an Event Permit application. Event Organisers will soon be able to apply for an Event Permit from the Member Portal.
To speed up the process the minimum set of information needed will be:
- Event name
- Type
- Categories
- Venue
- Dates
A Permit number will then be issued so the Event Organiser can start the process of creating the Event using the Event Entry system. Additional information and payment will be required before the Event Permit can be approved.

Release Note: New Feature - Event Permit Applications
We are thrilled to introduce a new feature to our Member Portal: Event Permit applications. This enhancement aligns with our digital transformation initiative, providing Event Organisers with a streamlined and efficient process for submitting Event Permit applications. Initially available for non-speed events, this feature will soon expand to include speed events as well.
With this new functionality, Event Organisers can effortlessly complete and submit their Event Permit applications online, eliminating the need for paper forms. The online form mirrors the familiar paper-based format, making the transition seamless and user-friendly.
One of the standout benefits of this feature is the automated process for generating supplementary regulations. This automation significantly reduces the time and effort required by Event Organisers, allowing them to focus on other crucial aspects of event planning.
